Born as a fishing and hunting valley and subsequently recognized as an area of international value under the Ramsar Convention and Nature Reserve, the Cavanata Valley represents a positive example of man-nature interaction that has led to an increase in biodiversity, in particular for the presence of numerous species of aquatic birds and with excellent potential for stopping and nesting of many species of birds. Let’s get to know it in its most hidden part, the area of the fish ponds and wintering tanks of Casa Spina.
