Starting at 08:30, together with the ringing group, we will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the world of migratory birds and understand the importance of scientific ringing.
We will talk about how ringing helps to:
-Trace their migratory routes and discover where they stop and overwinter
-Protect habitats through knowledge of these crucial areas
-Study the behaviour of species through their phenology
-Understand population dynamics by observing the relationship between adults and juveniles
It will be a perfect opportunity to get closer to science, admire the birds up close and discover how our knowledge can make a difference to biodiversity.
