On Sunday 28 September, at 3.30 pm, together with botanist and naturalist Pierpaolo Merluzzi, we will take a walk along the paths inside the Reserve, stopping to observe the trees that are now dead, some already fallen, others still standing. We will observe the decomposition process involving thousands of species: animals, plants, fungi, and bacteria. We will learn to consider dead wood as a treasure trove of biodiversity and not a sign of neglect.
