Valle Cavanata Nature Reserve can be visited all year round. There is no admission ticket, the toilets and, with the exception of the Casa Spina area where access is only allowed to organized groups accompanied by guides from the Nature Reserve, the paths are freely accessible.
Basic information, binocular hire and bicycle rental, together with the purchase of gadgets and books is available during the Visitor Centre’s opening hours.
The Visitor Centre is open:
- from 10.30 to 15.30 on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays from 1st November to 31st March
- from 1st April to 31st October it opens daily from 10.00 to 17.00 (but is closed on Thursdays)
The Pagoda and Sabbia Wildlife Observatory are accessible only by booking via email at info.educazionecavanata@gmail.com. You can obtain more information by downloading the RNR Valle Cavanata management and use protocol for the Covid-19 period approved by municipal council resolution no. 20 dated 26.05.2020.
The Nature Reserve is also accessible when the Visitor Centre is closed.
There are four routes that allow you to admire some of the most evocative environments of the Valle Cavanata Regional Nature Reserve:
- the Bosco Averto route
- the Visitor Centre route
- the Sea route
- the Valle route
