Since ancient times, man has felt the fascination of bird migrations and the mystery of the routes of their long journeys across seas and deserts, questions that remained open to imaginative theories for a long time. In recent years, new means such as GPS transmitters have revolutionized research on migratory birds. In this appointment we will explore which are the environmental factors that influence the first migration of young Italian flamingos.
The appointment includes a theoretical part in the visitor center, with a projection of data and images relating to the migration of flamingos, followed by an excursion dedicated to the observation of the birdlife present in the Reserve.
