Winter arrives, cold weather, but also many new guests for the Valle Cavanata Nature Reserve. The wintering waterfowl are species of great importance, every year they make long journeys to areas with milder climates than those where they spend the rest of the year. In this period, many species travel thousands of kilometers non-stop to find the perfect place to winter.

The Valle Cavanata nature reserve is now a fixed destination for winter rest for many migrants. For this reason, we are committed every day to conserve and maintain the natural riches present within this protected area.

To learn more about this important topic, we invite you to an appointment with Paul Tout, expert ornithologist, on Sunday 28 November at 10.30.
