A ten-year data collection has just ended, but the work doesn’t stop! Thanks to the support of the FVG Region and the editorial care of the Tringa group, we have published a work that analyzes 180,000 observations of 242 bird species present in the colder months. For each species, a specific distribution map was created for the province of Udine. This research stands out in the Italian context, where studies on breeding birds prevail. On Saturday 23 March, we invite you to take part in a walk in Valle Cavanata in which we will discuss, together with the expert ornithologist and co-author of the book, Paolo Utmar, on how the avifauna evolves with the changing use of the land and the changes climate.
